Great Ocean Rode

We had a call from Margaret in Brisbane who’s coming down for Around the Bay and wanted to know what else she could do while she was in town. We suggested that a fully supported ride from Warrnambool to Williamstown makes a scenic prelude to the ATB…and there’s a special deal for interstate visitors.

 

Students clock Gold Medal Challenge km’s

Secondary students participating in an Around the Bay in a Day event will be able to add their race mileage to their Challenge log books.

The 500km Gold Medal Challenge is almost a mini ‘Tour de France’ designed especially for secondary school students. Instead of competing against rivals, students are asked to test themselves – the only requirement to be successful is to ride 500 kilometres on your bike before 12 December this year.

Register now and be in the running for some great prizes including a Malvern Star road bike.

$600,000 will give over 1600 disadvantaged Aussie kids a years worth of education support so that they can stay in school longer and reach their full potential. For every child supported, future generations will benefit.
